A wonderful part of koi keeping is the magical experience of visiting Japan. The Breeders facilities and the breath taking views will have you booking your next trip, before the first one has finished!

Here at Niwa Nishikigoi we can offer that experience, on a no pressure trip. There will be no hard sales from ourselves or the breeders. WE will not need too,  the koi will do the talking!!! Everybody goes with a budget that soon gets a "little stretched"............... hobbyists and dealers alike!!!

Niwa Nishikigoi is only a small business and understands one of the best ways to prize the best koi from the Japanese breeders and get the koi at the right money is relationships and buying power. This is why Niwa Nishikigoi has teamed up with a few UK Dealers, one in particular has been visiting Japan twice a year for over 30 years.

You will be driven around by the Japanese agent and our party.

Everything is taken care of for you. Hotels, car hire, breeder appointments, meals, flights. All you have to do is pack your bags and get to the airport.

Traditionally, a koi buying trip to Japan, meant hopping on  a plane. However, we appreciate that may not always be possible for some people. With the wonderful world of modern day technology, Niwa Nishikigoi can bring Japan to you!!!!! By the means of video call.

Whilst we are in Japan, we can take special request, bowl koi and face time you, to see if you like the koi or not.

Koi Buying Trips T&C's

Koi under £500 must be paid for in full, over £500 then you may leave a 50% deposit. Balance payable upon collection.

We shall not be liable for injury and/or quality decline of the Koi during keeping. If death occurs, you'll receive a shop credit.

Once out of quarantine, and you simply do like the Koi upon viewing i.e. it differs greatly to the images/video it was purchased from. You may exchange for another koi at the same value or greater.

Genders are not guaranteed, unless specified as “Female guarantee”

If a Female guarantee Koi is later to be found out male, you will receive shop credit and get to keep the male koi!

Under no circumstances can Live Koi be returned, this is due to biosecurity laws we abide by. For defective or damaged products, please contact us at the contact details below to arrange a refund or exchange.

Any koi purchased in Japan in person or special order are non refundable under any circumstances. Koi left azukari, or in custody of the breeder, are entirely at your risk unless specifically agreed between yourself and the breeder, usually limited to guarantee of gender or life. Growth or any change in pattern are excluded.
